At Multiconsult we help shape the society of tomorrow through engineering, architecture, and advisory services. With operations across Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Poland, we combine deep technical expertise and innovative thinking to solve complex challenges in infrastructure, energy, industry, urban development, and mobility.
As Multiconsult Group continues its growth journey, we are strengthening the way we work across our businesses. Procurement is a key part of that ambition.
We are now establishing a new Group Procurement function and are looking for an experienced and ambitious leader to build it from the ground up. Are you our new Head of Group Procurement?
This is a rare opportunity to define the strategy, operating model, governance, and capabilities of a group-wide function with strong executive sponsorship and clear business relevance. You will play a central role in creating value across the organisation while positioning procurement as a strategic driver of performance, sustainability, and growth.
If the opportunity to take on a brand-new role and shape it into your own sounds exciting, we'd love to hear from you.
The job
As Head of Group Procurement, you will be responsible for establishing and leading a modern, data-driven procurement function across Multiconsult Group.
You will work closely with senior leadership and business stakeholders across countries and business units to create a common procurement framework, unlock synergies, strengthen supplier management, and support the group's continued growth ambitions.
Key responsibilities
Develop and implement the Group Procurement strategy aligned with the Group's overall business objectives
Establish and lead the Group Procurement function, including operating model, governance, processes, and category management practices
Build and develop a high-performing procurement team, including recruitment, capability development, and leadership
Drive strategic sourcing initiatives and deliver measurable commercial value across the Group
Develop and implement ESG-related procurement policies, governance structures, and supplier management practices
Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on procurement, supplier strategy, supplier risk management, and value creation
Who are you?
We are looking for a leader who is energised by creating something new and who sees opportunity where others see complexity.
You combine strategic thinking with a hands-on approach and are equally comfortable defining the future direction as rolling up your sleeves to make it happen. You know that successful transformation requires both strong execution and the ability to bring people along the journey.
Most importantly, you are motivated by building a function that creates visible and lasting business impact.
Experience and qualifications
Proven experience from senior procurement, sourcing, or supply management roles with a strong track record of delivering commercial results
Deep understanding of category management, Source-to-Contract, and Procure-to-Pay processes and experience implementing these capabilities in an organisation
Demonstrated success in building, transforming, or significantly developing a strategic procurement function, preferably within a group structure
Strong negotiation, supplier management, and contract management capabilities
Solid financial and commercial understanding with the ability to translate procurement initiatives into business value
Experience influencing and collaborating with senior executives and leadership teams
Experience from engineering, consulting, professional services, construction, infrastructure, or related industries is an advantage
Relevant higher education at Master's level or equivalent
Fluent in both Norwegian and English, written and spoken
Don't meet every requirement? That's okay. We know that great candidates don't always tick every box. If this role excites you and you believe you can make a meaningful contribution, we would love to hear from you.
