We work alongside clients, contractors and consultants on some of the most prestigious transport projects in Norway. As we prepare for the future, we are looking for a Contract Manager with strong legal expertise and a solid understanding of Norwegian standards and customer behaviour.
As a Contract Manager, you will be one of the project manager's most important supporters, legally and contractually, with an extensive contact surface, internally and externally.
Your tasks will include:
- Follow-up of COWI's projects, with contractual focus
- Establish and implement routines and work processes for contract follow-up and project implementation, with a focus on Norwegian practice
- Create and follow up on contract strategies, and contribute to good contract understanding, internally and externally
- Assist the project management in handling claims, notifications and other follow-up, in line with the contract/relevant NS standards (NS 8401/8402, FIDIC, etc.)
- Prepare and quality assure submissions to customers
We're looking for someone who is accurate, structured and methodical, with an eye for detail and strong business acumen. You have:
- Higher relevant education (legal, technical or economics)
- Documented experience of contract follow-up, requirements management and progress management in major projects
- Experience from a consultant or contractor
- In-depth knowledge of consultancy contracts and national contract forms
- Good insight into how Norwegian customers act - culturally and practically
- Very good written and oral presentation skills, in Norwegian and English
- Good digital skills
