Join our hydrogeology environment working across Norway
To support sustainable water resource management and environmental impact reduction, we are looking for a Senior Hydrogeologist to join our team. We are a team of dedicated hydrogeologists and environmental specialists in Norway, who also have a good collaboration with our international colleagues, especially in Denmark. Together, we are working alongside our customers on some of Norway's most prestigious and impactful projects in hydrogeology and water management. We are thrilled to contribute to projects like Skygard, Hamar station, Fellesprosjekt Arna-Stanghelle, Bergen Light Rail and Avinor airports, where our expertise in groundwater assessment and sustainable solutions has made a significant impact.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Hydrogeological assessments in infrastructure and development projects
- Ensure safe and secure drinking water from groundwater through various hydrogeological assessments, field methods and applications (konsesjonssøknader)
- Geothermal energy, both open and closed loop systems
- Land subsidence risk evaluations with regards to groundwater drainage
- Hydrogeological risk assessment and water handling in construction pits
- Geohazard assessments with regards to increased groundwater levels and flooding
- Groundwater remediation, modelling and monitoring
- Supporting junior team members in skill development and knowledge sharing.

On top of that, you will have:
- A Master degree in Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, Geology, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in hydrogeology, preferably within consulting, engineering or environmental sector
- Proficiency in groundwater modelling and analysis software (such as MODFLOW, FEFLOW, or similar tools), as well as GIS tools for spatial data analysis
- Strong knowledge of Norwegian and EU environmental regulations, permitting processes and guidelines relevant to groundwater management
- Demonstrated experience in managing projects, including budget oversight, timelines, and communication with clients and stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to non-specialists in a clear and concise manner
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to innovative, sustainable solutions within water management
- Minimum B2 level in Norwegian speaking and writing.
