Procurement analytics and technology specialist

Help build a new Group Procurement at Multiconsult

We are establishing a new Group Procurement function and are looking for a Procurement analytics and technology specialist who wants to help shape how procurement will work across Multiconsult Group. Reporting to the Head of Group Procurement, you will play a central role in developing the data, insights, systems and technology that support procurement across the Group.

Working closely with Category & Value Managers and stakeholders across the organisation, you will help establish the analytical and technological foundations needed to support decision-making, value creation and continuous improvement.

This is an opportunity to join at an early stage and contribute to building a function, not simply operating within an established one.

The job

As Procurement analytics and technology specialist, you will play a central role in developing the analytical and technological foundations of Group Procurement. You will be responsible for procurement data, spend visibility, reporting, analytics and procurement technology across the Group.

Working closely with the Head of Group Procurement, you will help establish the insights, systems and performance measures needed to support decision-making, drive value creation and enable a modern procurement function. The role combines analytical responsibilities with process and technology development. You will work across procurement systems, supplier data, contract information and spend analytics, while supporting the continued development of procurement capabilities, governance and ways of working.

As part of a newly established function, you will have a unique opportunity to influence how procurement technology, analytics, automation and AI are applied across the Group.

Key responsibilities

  • Own spend analysis and procurement reporting across the Group

  • Develop and maintain procurement dashboards, KPIs and management reporting

  • Support the Head of Group Procurement with reporting, performance management and decision support

  • Establish and continuously improve spend visibility, savings tracking and procurement performance metrics

  • Support Category & Value Managers with spend analysis, supplier intelligence, market analysis and sourcing insights

  • Own and continuously improve procurement data quality

  • Act as business owner for procurement-related systems, tools and data structures

  • Support the development of contract management, supplier management and procurement technology capabilities

  • Develop and maintain contract, supplier and procurement master data

  • Identify opportunities to improve processes through automation, analytics and technology

  • Evaluate and support the implementation of new procurement tools and capabilities

  • Contribute to the development of governance, processes, methodologies and ways of working across the procurement function

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who combines analytical capability with curiosity about technology and business processes. You enjoy working with data and turning information into insights that support better decisions. At the same time, you are interested in how systems, technology and new ways of working can improve business performance.

You are comfortable taking ownership, working independently and collaborating with stakeholders across different functions. You may be a recent graduate with exceptional analytical skills, or you may have a few years of experience from procurement, finance, analytics, technology or consulting.

Experience and qualifications

  • Higher education within business, finance, technology, engineering, analytics, data science, supply chain or a related field

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

  • Experience working with data, reporting, analytics or business intelligence tools

  • Advanced Excel skills and interest in data modelling and analysis

  • Experience with Power BI or similar reporting and visualisation tools is an advantage

  • Interest in technology, automation, AI and digital development

  • Ability to communicate data and insights in a clear and structured way

  • Fluency in English and preferably at least one Scandinavian language

Don’t meet every requirement? That’s okay. We are recruiting a team, not four identical profiles. If the opportunity excites you and you believe you can contribute, we would like to hear from you.

Personal qualities

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

  • Curiosity and a desire to understand how things work

  • A structured and detail-oriented approach

  • Ownership and a willingness to take responsibility

  • The ability to turn data into actionable insights

  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills

  • Pragmatism and a focus on delivering tangible improvements

  • Adaptability and comfort working in a developing environment

  • Interest in technology and how it can improve business processes and decision-making

What we offer

  • A central role in developing procurement data, analytics, reporting and technology across the Group

  • Significant influence on how procurement performance, systems, dashboards and management information are developed

  • Broad exposure across companies, business areas, projects and Group functions

  • Close collaboration with procurement, finance, IT, legal and business leadership

  • The opportunity to work at the intersection of procurement, technology, analytics and business development

  • Professional growth through increasing responsibility and ownership

  • A collaborative environment where different backgrounds, perspectives and experience levels are valued

  • Competitive compensation and attractive pension and insurance arrangements

If your experience does not align perfectly with every requirement, but you believe you can contribute to the team, we encourage you to apply.
