We are looking for a Head of People and Organisation Business Partnering to join COWI Norway. In this role, you will serve as a vital connection for our people agenda, being an integrated part of COWIs People Leadership Team, as well as the Norwegian Leadership Team to enhance strategic impact and cultivate organisational development across COWI and in Norway.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Serve as a strategic business partner for the Executive Vice President of COWI in Norway and the Norwegian Leadership Team, collaborating on the people agenda to enhance business performance, engagement, and building good leadership
  • Execute people and organisation plans and key priorities, using data-driven analysis to reach key financial and organisational targets.
  • Be a trusted advisor for senior leaders, enabling them to lead and develop their teams more impactfully.
  • Facilitate People Review and organizational reviews to confirm alignment with COWI’s organisational blueprint, financial key performance indicators, people key performance indicators, and annual HR cycles.
  • Oversee country-level legal and regulatory compliance and serve as the primary liaison for all areas of the people organisation, including operations.
  • Oversee, grow, and engage the Norwegian P&O team, which consists of seven strong HR-professionals within the areas of P&O Business partnering, P&O specialists and HR Legal.
  • Collaborate closely with union organisations and oversee local collective agreements.
  • Manage robust processes for reorganisations, upskilling and reskilling initiatives, and change management.
  • Oversee the annual salary regulation process and advise on annual global bonus allocation, enabling leaders to create a performance culture with a clear link between performance and rewards

On top of that, you will have:

  • Considerable experience in senior P&O/HR leadership, having effectively delivered HR strategy in international matrix organizations, especially those engaged in the development of knowledge and skills.
  • Demonstrated skill in cultivating senior leadership relationships, advising and influencing senior leadership to take the right people and organisation decisions.
  • Deep insight into people and organisation topics, with the ability to communicate the value of P&O initiatives and KPIs on business results.
  • Experienced in Norwegian employment law and building good relationships with unions
  • Higher educational degree in a relevant field.
  • Strategic mindset with a structured and effective approach to prioritisation.
  • An advocate of change, and enjoys working in an evolving environment
  • Fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken
