Group Procurement Category & Value Managers
Help build a new Group Procurement at Multiconsult
We are establishing a new Group Procurement function and are looking for four Procurement Category & Value managers who want to help shape how procurement will work across Multiconsult Group. Reporting to the Head of Group Procurement, you will contribute to the development of category strategies, supplier partnerships, sourcing activities and new ways of working across the Group. The team will work across companies, business areas, projects and Group functions, covering both direct and indirect procurement categories.
We are not looking for four identical profiles. We want to build a team with complementary backgrounds, capabilities and levels of experience, and the final allocation of categories and responsibilities will depend on the successful candidates. You may have a few years of relevant experience or be an experienced procurement professional. If you are motivated by the opportunity to build a new function and contribute to commercial value across the Group, we would like to hear from you.
The job
As a Category & Value Manager, you will work closely with stakeholders and suppliers to understand business needs, identify opportunities and develop commercial solutions that create value for the Group. You will contribute to category strategies, sourcing activities, contract development, supplier management and agreement implementation.
The role is broader than conducting sourcing processes after requirements have been defined. You will engage early, bring market and supplier insight, challenge existing approaches and help shape requirements and solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders across the Group to develop category strategies, improve supplier relationships and establish commercial solutions that support the business.
The team will cover the following areas:
IT and Digitalisation; This category covers software, cloud services, hardware, telecommunications, digital platforms and technology services. Given the strategic importance and complexity of the category, we expect this role to be filled by an experienced professional with a strong understanding of technology-related procurement, commercial models and supplier ecosystems. The role will work closely with IT leadership and business stakeholders to support both operational needs and future digital development.
Real Estate and Facility Management; This category covers offices, leases, workplace services, facility management and associated property-related services. The role will support the development of commercially sound and consistent solutions across the Group, balancing business requirements, service levels, supplier performance and cost efficiency.
Projects and Delivery Support; This is primarily a direct procurement category supporting project execution and client delivery. The category may include subcontractors, specialist services, equipment, insurance and other project-related requirements. The role will work closely with project and business leaders to ensure access to the right capabilities and supplier capacity while balancing flexibility, commercial risk and delivery performance.
Corporate and Professional Services; This is primarily an indirect procurement category and may include HR services, travel, consulting, finance-related services and other administrative categories. The role will work across Group functions and business areas to improve commercial arrangements, support standardisation, strengthen supplier management and increase the use of Group-wide solutions.
One of the positions will also combine category responsibility with responsibility for Operational Procurement. This will include developing purchasing processes and channels, supplier onboarding, agreement implementation, user adoption and continuous improvement. The category portfolio will be adjusted to reflect the additional responsibility.
The categories are our starting point. The final allocation will depend on the experience, strengths and interests of the successful candidates, with the aim of building the best overall team.

We are looking for people who enjoy solving business problems, working across organisational boundaries and building something new.
