Our new Head of Operations is responsible for high availability at all our sites and for all customers. You will drive the way Telenor Infra can maximize the life span and profitability of the assets and introduce modern operational practices while minimizing technical debt. The position will highlight issues that create most value and make Telenor Infra a more sustainable and profitable operation.
You will report directly to the CEO of Telenor Infra, and as part of the management team you are responsible for representing Operations and operational issues. Furthermore, you will work closely with CTO in the Nordic Tower organization.
Some of your main responsibilities:
In line with customer, regulatory and security requirements you will be responsible for site operation for all of Telenor Infra’s portfolio. You will coordinate with relevant engineering teams to ensure 3rd line support and actively follow up on incidents and problems.
The role will work on analyses of incident data to identify trends and provide solutions in support of the core subject areas of mast & towers, energy & cooling as well as buildings. You will drive operational improvements and recommend changes to processes, fault handling routines as well as reporting.
You will contribute to sustainability initiatives like energy efficiency and supply chain robustness, and actively develop HSE both internally and in cooperation with sub-contractors.
Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Master’s degree, preferably within technical subject matters.
- 7 – 10 years’ experience within relevant industries.
- Leadership experience and ability to motivate co-workers.
- Experience from complex organizations and working cross-functionally is an advantage.
- Excellent people skills and team-worker orientation with the ability to share knowledge and experience.
- Experience within process simplification.
- Good presentation skills and experience addressing senior management, internally and externally.
- Proficiency in English language, both oral and written, is required.
