Environmental consultant
To continue our growth as a team, we are looking for an environmental consultant to join our team. We are working alongside our customers on some of Norways most significant and interesting projects within hospitals, airports, data centers, infrastructure, apartment buildings, rehabilitation projects and more.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Provide environmental advice within contaminated soil and water and carry out fieldwork with environmental surveys of ground and water
- Prepare action plans for contaminated soil and sediment and conduct assessments of acid-forming bedrock
- Prepare and follow up environmental programs and environmental follow-up plans in building and construction projects
- Perform environmental risk assessments and prepare related management, tender, and specification documents.
- Manage disciplines and projects while conducting Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) and prepare greenhouse gas budgets and accounts in several different sectors
- Collaborate with clients to set environmental goals and contribute to tender preparation.

In addition, you have:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience
- Relevant education at master's level
- BREEAM certification is an advantage, but not a requirement
- You have good Norwegian presentation skills both orally and in writing
- Category B driver's license
COWI has customers and projects that may require security clearance at various levels. There may therefore be requirements for security clearance in some projects/positions.
