We are strengthening our People and Organisation (P&O) team and are looking for a Senior P&O Business Partner who will act as a trusted advisor and advocate to senior leaders in COWI, Norway.

Develop leaders and lead strategic people partnership

As Senior P&O Business Partner, you will be a member of the leadership team collaborating closely with senior leaders to enhance leadership capabilities, team engagement, and organisational governance. Furthermore, you will play an engaged and hands-on role in delivering key people initiatives in collaborating with P&O colleagues locally and across functions. You will report to Ingrid Husan, Head of P&O Norway, and be based at our Oslo office.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Partner with senior leaders to address organisational challenges and implement prioritised change initiatives.
  • Provide leadership sparring on engagement, conflict resolution, team development, and organisational design.
  • Enhance leadership pipeline behaviours and ensure clear, consistent leadership practices.
  • Support and collaborate with the legal and labour relations function as a strategic partner.
  • Manage and execute annual people processes (engagement, people review, succession, talent, performance).
  • Ensure solid organisational governance and adherence to COWI standards.

On top of that, you have:

  • A master’s degree in business, HR, leadership & organisation, or similar.
  • Extensive experience as a strategic HR/P&O Business Partner working with senior leaders.
  • Experience facilitating organisational change and improving leadership performance.
  • Comprehensive business understanding and ability to turn business needs into actionable people initiatives.
  • Experience working with Norwegian employment law 
  • Fluency in Norwegian and English, written and verbal.
