Create a Solution for a better tomorrow

To broaden our knowledge and meet the growing demand in projects involving new energy carriers, carbon capture, biogas, and thermal energy, we are looking for a Mechanical and Process Consultant to join our team. COWI Renewable Energy is engaged in energy solutions, industry, power grids, and hydropower. The Mechanical and Process discipline focus on projects related to storage and distribution of dangerous substances, green fuels, CCS, biogas and other process industry. As a mechanical engineer, you will be involved in projects shaped around our clients’ requirements and needs. Our clients are always at the center of what we do, and we focus on building long-term, trusted relationships. This makes it important that you bring a genuine interest in understanding their needs and a passion to help them achieve their goals. Some of our customers and projects may require security clearance at various levels, and therefore, certain roles may involve this requirement. You need be structured, curious, and engaged in complex professional challenges. We work on all the project phases, from feasibility studies to detailed design, follow up during construction and commissioning. We are also looking for someone with experience in construction management and HSE engineering to support our projects in execution. The workplace will be in Oslo.

On a day-to-day basis, you will:

  • Design systems and facilities
  • Prepare tender specifications
  • Consult clients as owner's engineer
  • Act as Discipline lead in larger projects and studies
  • Develop our professional environment and contribute with your experience and skills.

On top of that, you will have:

  • Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in mechanical design, focusing on process engineering
  • A bachelor's/ master’s degree or equivalent within Mechanical or Process Engineering.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in Norwegian and English
